Asian Honda Motor Co., Ltd., Honda’s Bangkok-based Asia & Oceania Regional Headquarters, today released the company’s export results for the first quarter of 2010.  Mr. Fumihiko Ike, President & CEO, Asian Honda Motor Co., Ltd., reported that, “Thanks to the global economic recovery, demand from the international market has significantly increased, which had a positive impact on Honda’s export performance from Thailand in Q1 2010.  During the quarter, exports for all three of Honda’s main product lines – automobiles, motorcycles and power products – reached 24,689 million Baht, representing a 53% increase compared to the same period last year. Based on this result, we are maintaining our annual target for the total export value from Thailand of 90,000 million baht, or a gain of 28% over 2009.”
